First of all, hi! Thanks for writing for me. I hope you have fun with it, and don't stress about the details. If you wanna know anything about me, feel free to browse my journal (my previous YT letters all still apply, they might be helpful) or my tumblr (jaegermighty). My only hard DNW is rape - you can discuss it if you like, its aftermath and effects (considering one of my requests is Jessica Jones, it may very well come up), but please nothing explicit, and try to keep in mind that's a really personal issue for me.
Some general stuff - I like tropes, happy endings, strong relationships built on history and trust (platonic or otherwise). I like soul mate stories, but I'm not so big on soul bond (mind reading? What's with that? Seems awk). Miscommunication/I didn't know they loved me back stuff is really fun, so is secret identities and other slapstick style tropes like that. Character pieces, AUs (especially when it's a twist on canon, like "what if X & Y had happened" or role reversal stuff). Marriage of convenience - love that! Anything where an existing relationship has to adapt to new boundaries or circumstances - that's a lot of fun. Not so huge on straight out fluff or straight out angst - I like a good balance between. Time travel, genre twists. Friends to lovers. Rom coms!
Hopefully that gives you something to work with. I've copy/pasted what I put in my actual sign up below, with some added prompts specific to each fandom. Don't feel chained to what I've put in here - they're just ideas for you to work with. Write something you like!
Killjoys (TV)
Dutch (Killjoys), Johnny Jaqobis
My favorite show, my favorite pairing. Would love something shippy, but am perfectly happy with something platonic, as well - up to you.
I've requested this pairing before (and received an amazing story!) but I'm always on the hunt for Johnny &/ Dutch stories. You can read my 2016 letter too if you want, everything in there still stands. I'm not caught up with the show yet but I've been spoiled on everything, so don't worry about that - some things I would love would be a piece that explores that hot second of weirdness that was Dutch's reaction to Johnny and Pawter, YEARNING FIC about the YEARNING post Johnny's departure, backstory backstory backstory (can never get enough), AU where one of them takes the offer to just leave and not come back (!!). Political intrigue, plot heavy stuff is a plus. My only request is no Dutch/D'avin - that's a dislike for me. Have fun!

Femslash! I would very much like femslash. Not to put pressure on you, if you don't want to write femslash, I'd be happy with something about their friendship (of course), but this is a very stark desire of mine, just letting you know upfront.
I've requested this before, so I might as well link you - Everything in here still stands, tbh. The thing I love most about this dynamic is that they're so well worn with each other - so familiar with each other's flaws, and while not /accepting,/ exactly, they seem to be comfortable with their "it's complicated" facebook status. Trish's past as a Disney Channel-type star is also a goldmine that only gets barely touched in the show - something set when they were kids, maybe? Growing up as a teen tv star with a superpowered foster sister - holy shit, what a combination . Angst would be great - my hot spot is that "they don't care like I care (but actually, they do, and I don't see it)" trope. Anything you wanna write about that digs into either their past, present, or future - I'm down for the ride.
I haven't seen the Defenders, but I don't really care about spoilers at all, so don't worry about that kind of thing. And I want to reiterate that while I would really, really like something shippy - my definition of "shippy" is extremely loose, so even if you write something completely platonic where nothing at all romantic or sexual happens between them, I'm still gonna read it with my POV in mind, and I'll be happy. Don't feel pressure. :)
Power Rangers (2017)
Any, all, either, or! I adored this movie unironically, and I love all the characters. I'm a sucker for nostalgia and an even bigger sucker for superpowers, kids with superpowers, kids with superpowers who become friends, and even better - misfit kids with superpowers who become friends.
If you signed up to write one or two - go for it. I'm open to exploring literally any relationship dynamic (any ship, too, if that's what you wanna do! Het, slash, femslash, whatever!). I like character pieces, and I like tropes - the movie hit all my spots, tbh. I'm down for plot heavy, too. Some things I like - (secret) identity porn, miscommunication, found families, coming of age, post-apocalypse, SPACE!! Go wild.
Since I have a feeling you might have been hoping for a particular ship, I'll focus on those - I really am okay with any of them. Don't feel obligated to write something romantic though - again, for me, friendship-focused stories really aren't all that far away from romance-focused. The foundation is the same, even if the ways they're expressed tend to be different.
And let's not forget gen! Group dynamics! Any kind of piece about how their new mantle holds up under High School would be a-may-zing - tbh I was really disappointed that the movie ended right when it was about to get to the juicy secret identity stuff. Superhero stories! Bring in some Classic (TM) Power Ranger villains if you want! One of the best scenes in the movie was that sequence when they're being pushed down into the HOLE OF DOOM and Jason just keeps telling them all to stay together, stay together no matter what - the essence of what makes this story engaging for me is in that moment, to be honest - wildly different people who have found a way to stand shoulder to shoulder for something good, regardless of their own misgivings with each other and themselves. Real heroism isn't bravery, it's faith - faith in something you haven't seen in yourself (or the person standing next to you), but that you find when you need it, anyway.
And! Oh! Pacific Rim AU, anyone? Isn't this fandom perfect for that? Another really fitting one - Groundhog Day, on the day of the Big Fight?
I'll shut up now, hopefully that gives you a place to start at least. Have fun, don't stress. And happy holidays!

- Probably the AU I would like to see the most is the one mentioned in my request - where Dutch or Johnny takes up the "we can just fly away" offer, at any of the points that it was on the table. You could twist that into a fluffy happy ending scenario if you wanted, or a bittersweet "we're happy now but the guilt never leaves" sort of thing. Or take it dark, if you want - the canon certainly leaves room for any of those tones. Lots of possibilities, and it's not something I've seen done yet (as far as I've found, anyway)
- Some shippy prompts - jealousy (Pawter, D'avin, Alvis, et al), marriage of convenience (marriage of politics?), shamelessly shippy AU twists, soulmate/soul mark - an obvious trope, for these two. Anything romantic with a pragmatic edge to it would fit really well, I think.
- Identity porn! Dutch returns the favor, pretends to be Aneela for some reason? I like stuff that plays around with Dutch's ability to lie and manipulate, and Johnny's ability to roll with it, and not hold it against her.
- anything with plot, that ties into the ongoing arcs in canon - I'm down for it. Don't care about spoilers, and I'll probably be caught up on the show by the time I read what you write, so go wild. I can't get too specific in this request since I - obviously, lol - haven't watched the latest season, but if it's as good as everyone says, I'm in for a treat.

- Noir AU - Trish as the dame with the troubled past, Jessica as the dame with the troubled present - I tried to come with like a suave tagliner for the kind of Maltese Falcon type story I'm picturing here, but everything I thought of sounded too cheesy. Exhibit A why I've never tried to write this trope, lmfao. Anyway, you get what I'm laying down - they never met as kids, instead encountering each other as variously troubled adults - Trish enlists Jessica's services as a detective? Intrigue, mystery, pencil skirts? I'm down.
- HELLCAT - would kill for any kind of iteration of Trish-as-Hellcat, tbh.
- pining! Who's secretly in love with the other? (my vote's on Trish tbh)
- Sex We Don't Talk About - do I need to elaborate? (My status on smut is: sure, go for it)
- Marriage of convenience would fit these two really well - marrying for emancipation, to get away from Evil Mom? Is that a thing? A legal thing that would work? (Lol. Since when do we care if it's realistic, right?)
- Trish went on to become a movie star AU? If you're into that, it'd be fun to try and marry Jessica's world to a Hollywood context, I think

- Kim &/ Trini - love it. Of course. Some prompts - cheerleading tryouts? Hiding their closeness at school, because Kim doesn't want her rep to influence Trini's. Sneaking around, hiding a romance from the other rangers? Trini gets a job (at a hip cafe where all the teens hang out, of course, because this is Power Rangers) and Kim desperately pretends she doesn't resent the loss of time/new friends/new focus this gives her. Road trips, friendship bracelets. Yoga in the mountains!
- Billy &/ Jason - detention! Peer pressure from Jason's old friends. Meeting Billy's mom (srsly, why didn't we meet Billy's mom). Aftermath of the Big Scene - flashbacks, panic attacks, dealing with trauma together. Family pressures intruding on their personal life. Art shows! Teaching each other new hobbies.
- Jason &/ Kim - sympathetic to each other's flaws, but intolerant of allowing them to continue - prom dates! Dating in general. Wanting to be normal, feeling normal when they're with each other, but noticing how it makes their roles as Rangers suffer - and how it leads them to neglect their friends? Secrets from their families.
- Jason &/ Trini - Fighting all the time, constantly, unless one of them is threatened and then they're united in hate. Little brothers! They adore Jason, who is comically horrid at being around children. Trini refuses to help him out at all.
- Zack &/ Jason - clearly, they fight all the time over who gets to be Bender and who has to be Andrew. Neither of them ever knowing what to make of the other, but wanting to figure it out anyway? Juvie AU. (Lmfao ofc I went there) Zack's disaffected stoner vibe running headfirst into Jason's earnestness - a really intriguing combination that you could force in lots of different ways...
- Zack & ANYONE - ZACK AND HIS MOM. LET'S TALK ABOUT ZACK AND HIS MOM. MEETING ZACK AND HIS MOM!
